Joanie Mitchell is a Clinical Psychologist and a Sue Struengmann funded PhD Fellow, based at the Alan J. Flisher Centre for Public Mental Health. The aim of Joanie’s PhD work is to develop a contextually relevant and feasible indicated prevention intervention for undergraduate students with symptoms of depression and/or anxiety, in the Western Cape of South Africa.
