Thanya April

Thanya joined the Perinatal Mental Health Project at the Centre for Public Mental Health in 2016 as an Administrative Assistant, bringing with her a strong foundation in office and business administration. She holds a diploma in Office and Business Administration and a Bachelor of Applied Social Science in Psychology from the South African College of Applied Psychology. Her leadership and dedication were recognised in 2023 when she was promoted to Operations Manager. In this role, she oversees the operational and financial management of PMHP’s programmes and contributes to strategic planning and organisational development. Thanya is deeply committed to continuous professional growth and is currently registered for an Honours Degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology at the University of Cape Town.
